  100% turnover of service staff. All the regulars we have known are all gone. The service was very poor. Is there a new owner? We didn't get the food we ordered. Drinks didn't come until halfway through the meal. Food was mediocre. Time to find a new local place.

  Normally great. Today was miles from it.
  
  My hopes are that this reaches someone who cares.
  
  We stopped in towards the end of lunch today. I'll start by saying NOTHING was our server's fault and our drinks and apps came out as expected. Then it was all downhill from there. We waited an hour after our apps for some glimpse of hope for our orders. (If we were on a normal lunch break, there's no way we would have had time to be patient). 1 hour and 30 min later, the food finally made it....but that was a disaster too! My burger was well done-borderline burnt(ordered medium). My friend's mussels were bathed in a salt-lick of a sauce, not even broth-like. And even IF the food did not take 90 min...the food wasn't even prepared properly!! We were asked if there was anything they could do....by this point, no, like wait another hour?? We were told the GM had to step into the kitchen to get things up to speed a few times during our visit. That might have moved things along for some guests, but made no impact on us.
  
  Where was the GM in extending a personal apology/explanation and ensuring we left satisfied? They decided to just take our entrees off our bill. I mean, that's it?! So the food we waited 90 mins for, that was served barely edible on a 2 hour long LUNCH visit, is the extension of your apology and hospitality?
  
  We will have to give Ballyhoos a second thought in the future, if ever a return.
  What a shame.
